- Google Analytics runs by default. You can turn it off in Privacy settings. Our separate first-party analytics stay off unless you enable them.

- Event details can change, so confirm important details with the organizer.

How listings and logos work
Donde organizes publicly available information about dance classes, socials, festivals, schools and organizers. Sources may include an organization’s official website and verified public professional social-media account. We retain source links and freshness information so a listing can be checked and corrected.
Names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners. We use verified profile images or official website logos to identify the organization connected with a listing; that use does not transfer ownership to Donde or imply endorsement. We do not intentionally publish private accounts, private attendee information or personal home addresses.
A verified source means we checked the source’s relationship to the organization. It is not a guarantee of admission, safety, quality or availability. Organizers control their schedules, venues, prices, registration, accessibility, cancellations and refunds.

Information we handle
Information you choose to provide
If you email us, suggest a listing or report a correction, we may receive your name, email address, message and the information or links you submit. We use it to respond, investigate the request, protect the service and keep an appropriate record of the outcome.
Public organization information
We may retain public business facts such as an organization’s name, professional contact details, website, public social profile, logo, city, venue and published programming. Public professional information is kept separate from private correspondence and account information.
Technical information
Our hosting and security systems may process ordinary request information such as IP address, browser details, requested page, time and security signals. This is used to deliver and protect the website. Request IP addresses are retained internally in restricted Google Cloud security logs for up to 30 days to investigate abuse. They are not sent as Google Analytics event parameters. Optional product analytics are described separately below.
Service providers and location
We use service providers for cloud hosting, databases and business email, including Google Cloud, Neon and Microsoft 365. Information may therefore be processed in Canada, the United States or another location used by those providers, and may be subject to the laws of that location. We require access to be limited to legitimate operational purposes.
Retention and safeguards
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the stated purpose, legal obligations, security, dispute resolution or an active relationship. Analytics retention is stated below. We use access controls, restricted service identities, transport encryption and operational checks appropriate to the information, but no online service can promise absolute security.

Optional analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics by default to understand city visits and listing interactions. You may opt out through Privacy settings in the footer; existing declines and supported browser privacy signals are respected. Google receives usage and device information and may process it outside Canada. Advertising features are disabled. Google analytics cookies last up to 90 days; property retention settings apply to Google-held data. Our separately consented first-party analytics help us understand which cities, events, classes and sections are useful. This can include pages and sections viewed, time spent, coarse device type, referring-site domain, campaign labels and interactions with listings. We do not record form entries, precise location or activity on other websites.
If accepted, a random first-party analytics identifier can remain for up to 90 days. Donde works normally if you decline.
We respect supported Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals by disabling optional analytics. To change your choice, return to the main site and open Privacy settings in the footer.

Your privacy choices
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, withdraw consent for an optional use, or ask us to delete information that we no longer need to retain. We may need enough information to verify the request and may retain limited records where required for security, legal obligations or dispute resolution.

Website terms
Donde provides discovery information and links. We do not host the listed activities, and unless expressly stated otherwise, we are not the seller, ticketing provider or registration provider. Your dealings with an organizer or third-party website are governed by their terms and privacy practices.
We work to keep information current, but listings may be incomplete, delayed or incorrect. Check the organizer’s source before travelling, paying, or making an important decision. To the extent permitted by law, Donde is provided “as available” without a guarantee that every listing or external service will be accurate, safe or continuously available.
You may use the site for personal dance discovery. You may not disrupt the service, bypass access controls, impersonate another person or organization, submit unlawful or knowingly false information, harvest personal information, or copy the catalog at scale without written permission. Donde’s original design, software and editorial material remain protected by applicable intellectual-property law.
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Alberta and Canada, without limiting rights that cannot legally be excluded. If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply.

Community standards
Suggestions, reports and future community features must be respectful and relevant. Do not submit harassment, threats, hateful or discriminatory material; impersonation; private personal information; fraudulent events; unsafe or sexualized content involving minors; or repeated false reports. We may reject, hold or remove material that violates these standards or threatens people or the service.
Safety concerns are not emergency services. Contact local emergency services when someone faces immediate danger.

Accessibility
We aim to make Donde usable with keyboard navigation, screen readers, text resizing and common mobile devices, and we work toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We do not claim every page or third-party link is barrier-free.

Changes to this page
We will update this page when our practices or services change and revise the date at the top. Material changes will receive a prominent notice. New optional uses of personal information will receive a new choice where appropriate. If Donde later introduces studio accounts, mailing lists, payments, uploads or public contributions, those features will also receive a focused notice or consent mechanism where people use them.
